Split toe derby or Norwegian in the finest genuine Shell Cordovan from Horween in armagnac. Featuring a Rendenbach sole in a refined Goodyear- welt construction and full calf lining.
This shoe, like all the other Carmina´s, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869.
This style is assembled on the Forest last which is Carmina’s oldest and most archetypal last. With its classic and timeless design, this last seems to resist the course of time. Rounded toe, regular instep and more room across the forepart.

Cordovan
Shell Cordovan is a staple material of fine men’s shoemaking. Shell cordovan looks smooth, lustrous, and richly coloured in shades of burgundy, brown, and black. Shell Cordovan is a much more labour-intensive leather than cowhide. Cordovan shoe will age very well and develop a particularly beautiful patina over time. The name Shell comes from the circular shape of the skin. Today, only a few factories in the world tan shell cordovan. Rendenbach
Oak-bark tanned leather sole from John. Rendenbach ("JR") in Germany. Because of the tight grain of an oak-bark tanned leather soles, they wear longer and require more infrequent replacing. Leather with the JR-Brand label is waterproof and extremely abrasion resistant, tough yet flexible, very comfortable to wear and optically distinguished by its attractive grain and warm, woody colour.
